I finished 2 cards this morning. The current OWH card sketch and the Midweek Throwdown yellow and purple color challenge. I love this sentiment stamp and the sketch was just perfect to showcase it.

paper – Echo Park – Dots & Stripes

stamp – Jillibean Soup

border die cut – Lawn Fawn

heart punch – Martha Stewart

For the MWT, I had to really search for some purple paper. I own far too many 6×6’s and not one of them has purple in it. So I turned to my Project Life cards and found one kit that had purple.

paper – American Crafts and Becky Higgins Project Life

stamp – Avery Elle

embossing folder – Darice

oval die cuts – Spellbinders

brads – Recollections

  • Two great card. I love how you made your sentiment the star of the show and you used the hearts instead of brads. I like just the tail of the banner peeking out from behind your image panel. Very, Very pretty. I love think you did an amazing job with the MWT. Your small banner with brads in the corner looks real nice. Have a fun day.

  • Wow, both cards are just fabulous, lots of great color contrast, those sentiments just pop out. The purple one is very striking! TFS!

  • I love the reds on your sketch card along with that big sentiment and tiny black hearts! The purple card just pops with vibrant color and design! The rounded corners look wonderful and add so much interest!

  • Perfect cards! The second with all the shapes has a little more visual interest are is super cute! tfs!!!
