I can’t believe it’s been over 2 weeks since I have made a card. Yikes! But there have been some fun times. The last week of August, my husband treated me to a trip to Hawaii to celebrate my birthday. (He’s so sweet!) Then it was the first week of school for my kids. My son started 5th grade, while my daughter started her first year of preschool. So, lots of fun and busy, busy, busy. But this morning, I got crafty while everyone else was still sleeping. I made a card using this week’s OWH sketch.
I was originally going to put a birthday sentiment on this card to tie in with all the stars. But I know Sandy always needs more love cards, so I changed it to a love card instead. I’m hoping the stars and hearts still work well together.

stamp – My Favorite Things
twine – The Twinery

Very cute card. I love the patriotic colors paired with the sentiment.
Great card – I think it all works together perfectly!
This is so cute! Love the twine accents and those little hearts!
Oh, I LOVE that sentiment and it all goes together so well!! And darn, you reminded me I'd planned to use twine on my Any Hero card. Oh, well. Next time. 🙂
So cute–love the twine really super cute 🙂
Cute card, love the colors and that oh so cool craft paper!
Love how crisp the colors look against the kraft, and the twine is a perfect embellishment!!!
This looks great! So easy on the eyes and with nice colors. Thank you for sharing!
