For this week’s OWH sketch challenge, I decided to do a masculine and feminine card again. Since we’re nearing the Father’s Day deadline, I figured a Love you Dad card would be perfect.
sketch – http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-167/
paper – My Mind’s Eye – Miss Caroline Dilly Dally
stamp – Technique Tuesday
border punch – EK Success
brads – from stash
twine – The Twinery
Versafine ink
And since OWH always needs more Miss You cards, this is the feminine card I made.

Like the male patterns and the edge. Good male card!
Both super nice cards! Are the butterflies the brads? – the color is perfect with the PP you chose. Great ribbon treatment on the second card too!
I really like the edge with the paper on the top card. And the second card is so pretty; I love your paper choice and colors and the font on the sentiment!
Awesome cards. The second one could almost be for anyone. tfs!!!
Two excellent cards for today's OWH Sketch. The black and white card has the right balance of patterns and layers to make a bold statement, but not too 'busy'. Nice colors in the second card too. I like that you balance the small intricate pattern with splashes of bold embellishments in yellow and blue.
More wonderful cards and I spy butterflies!!
Two very nice card. I like that you went with something other than the normal scallop punch on these. Nice color scheme on both.
These are both such great cards using this week's sketch! I love the masculine version with the spiral punched edge and great dsp!
Two wonderful interpretations on this week's sketch Kristie. I really like seeing a masculine and feminine version using the same sketch. Great work!
Great cards! Thanks for showing a masculine and feminine both.
Both cards really work for me…love how you interpret the sketch…Rock on!!!
Two terrific cards Kristie. I especially love the black and white one and the border punch you used. Very classic. Thanks for playing.
Both cards are awesome! I love the border punch on the black and white one.
