This week’s Midweek Throwdown card challenge on the Stars and Stamps blog is to use a recipe. The recipe is 1 embossing folder, 1 border punch or diecut, 2 patterned papers, and 1 ribbon/twine. I love the idea for this challenge!

Kristie this is such a cute card! Love what you did with the challenge this week!
This is so pretty! I love those papers and the embossing is super. I really like the multiple layers on your sentiment circle, too!
Love this color combo and the twine is a nice touch!
Wow Kristie, I LOVE your recipe mix card! The colors together are wonderful and the dot embossing is cool! Thanks for playing in our Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge!
I like your card. It's so crisp and the stamping is perfect.
These subtle patterned papers are so pretty! And I am currently working on your brilliant 6×6 paper pad tutorial. I created my first 7 cards today 🙂
Your version of the recipe is great. I like the soft colors used and the large scalloped circle with the sentiment and the repeat of that shape in the embossing. I especially like the touch of zig zag stitching.
What a pretty card! I love the design — especially the placement of the embossed strip on the right. And, your attention to detail — like the 3-layered sentiment and stitching between the dps — is great. TFS!
