This week’s Midweek Throwdown on Operation Write Home’s blog is to make birthday cards for our heroes to send home to their family and friends. I’m currently making cards from Echo Park’s Love Story 6×6, so my card is definitely feminine. This was the first time playing with the border die cut from My Favorite Things. I thought it would be pretty to weave some May Arts wrinkle ribbon through the holes. I like how it turned out.

Darling card and I LOVE the idea of using an entire 6×6 pad before moving on to the next. Can't wait to check out your tutorial!
Lovely card! I love the black paper with the red and white.
Very pretty! I love the curvey repetition with the tiny border punch and the ribbon punch
I love the woven ribbon on the side of the card…it's really spectacular! Great work today.
This is gorgeous! Weaving the ribbon in is a really pretty touch.
Kristie your card is simply gorgeous! The woven ribbon is too =)
Thanks for playing in our OWH Midweek Throwdown challenge this week!
I like how it turned out, too! I'm glad you're still playing with some pretty pink papers. Great use of the ribbon.
