The OWH Midweek Throwdown this week is to make Disney Kids’ cards. Now, I will confess I missed that the card is also supposed to be a birthday card. I guess that means I will have to make another one, but I’m out of crafty time today. I really had fun with this new Deconstructed Sketch.
sketch – http://deconstructingjen.com/deconstructed-sketch-146/
paper – EK Success
stamp -Hero Arts
embossing folder – Cuttlebug
circle die cuts – Spellbinders
star die cuts – Lawn Fawn
Versafine ink
Update: I made a second card, this time with a birthday sentiment. I wanted to make sure to follow the rules.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Kristie, such an adorable card. Love all the great colors, especially the stripe that added some great blue to the mix. The layers are just superb, great sketch choice! Thanks for playing.
Well I'm glad I was not the only one that MISSED the birthday part. But with this darling card you can also put the birthday sentiment on the inside. I think this one is just perfect. Love the papers.
we have the same papers…but made two different cards. I love seeing how other people use papers I have…gives me more ideas. Cute card.
Kristie, what a fantastic card! I love the sketch, the star cutouts (may have to CASE those :-), and the colorful papers. Way to go!
Fabulous , colorful card that really pops. The little cutouts at the bottom with the stars = neat idea !
What a wonderful, fun card! I love the various papers and repeating circles. Great job Kristie!
