Welcome to my stop in the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Weekend BlogHop.  I hope you are all getting some great inspiration today. For my card, I used OWH sketch #169 and some cute patriotic Doodlebug paper.

sketch – http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-169/

paper – Doodlebug – Stars & Stripes

stamp – Paper Smooches

border die cut – Lil Inker Designs

heart die cuts – American Crafts

circle die cuts – Spellbinders

embossing folder – Cuttlebug

brads – Recollections

Versafine ink

And since it is Memorial Day weekend, I decided to also make an AnyHero card which I have already written my note of gratitude and encouragement in it.

sketch – http://fromtheheartstamps.com/community/2014/05/19/i-heart-card-sketches-wa-twist-no-67/

paper = Doodlebug – Stars & Stripes

embossing folder – Cuttlebug

stitched star die cuts – Lil Inker Designs

tiny star punch – Fiskars

circle die cuts – Spellbinders

And what a perfect weekend to involve the kids in making and writing their own AnyHero letters. My son and daughter are always eager to share their artwork and give thanks to our Heroes.

I have a challenge for you this weekend. Have every member from your family do an AnyHero card. It’s a wonderful way to thank our service members for all that they do for us everyday.
