Spring is finally here and I am just enjoying all the lovely blossoms on the trees. I keep reaching for pretty floral papers lately. My niece gave me a 6×6 paper pad for Christmas last year and it has such lovely designs. I decided to use the paper pad to make her a card and mail to her while she’s away at college. I used a MFT Blueprints die set I bought a few months ago.

  • Lovely cards! I like the florals and how striking they look with the black mats. Very pretty. The blueprint dies look pretty versatile, too. I'm sure your niece will be so happy to receive either of these cards. 🙂 Happy Spring!

  • I love this paper set – I have the 12 x 12 jumbo pad. You've given me new ways to think about using it (even if the designs are much larger than yours)! Well done – again!

  • I had never heard of the Blueprint dies until I saw these cards. What a great idea! These 2 cards are gorgeous, as are all your cards.
I use all the wonderful sketches… and all of your 6×6 tutorials Kristie. You have become one of my top 3 favourite designers!

  • Thank you, Jeanne! I debated between a white or black matting. I'm glad I went with black. I really like the added contrast. Happy spring to you as well! 🙂

  • Thank you! I'm sure the larger size papers will still work well for cards. It's a very lovely paper collection. 🙂

  • Thank you, Deb! I only own a few of the MFT Blueprint dies, but they are so much fun. I appreciate your kindness and support. I feel honored to be one of your top 3 designers. Have a wonderful day! 🙂

  • Those are beautiful, and how nice to show your niece your appreciation of her gift. I love the black matting as well. Isn't it great that spring is arriving? We're still expected to get another snow storm here in New England, I am just hoping they are wrong. 🙂

  • Thank you, Jennifer! I hope they were wrong about the snow storm. It's been rainy here in Western Washington, but that's pretty normal for springtime. And fall. And winter. Lol!
