The May challenge for the OWH Our Daily Bread Designs is Embossing. It can be either dry or wet embossing. I used wet embossing on both the owls and the sentiment and I used dry embossing on the background paper. After embossing the owls, I pulled out my watercolor paints and did my best to match the colors to the patterned papers. The two cards are the same, but I did paint them slightly different.

Sweet cards.
Love the black layer, really makes the paper stand out. Great coloring.
I loved your card. The DSP went so well with the cute owls which were colored so well. Wish I could do so well. Thanks for inspiring me.
Both cards are adorable! And big thumbs up on the watercoloring! I'm always so inspired by your awesome paper piecing skills and it's exciting to see another technique in your endless arsenal of cardmaking skills.
Who doesn't love Lil' Hoot!! Love the patterned papers you used on your wonderful card!
