Hello friends! After sharing my 10 Cards 1 Kit video using Love From Lizi’s November Card Kit, I received multiple requests to do a second video. I guess some people want to see me use up all the pattern paper, just like I do with my 6×6 videos. I do feel like the monthly kits are a bit different than simply using a 6×6 paper pad though. And Lizi really packs a lot of fun and unique items into her kits. Items I enjoy using and things that help push me outside my crafty comfort zone. Since I still have a love for pattern paper, I didn’t want to waste any of the beautiful paper.

The November Card kit is SOLD OUT. But there is a mini kit being released on November 19th featuring many of the items in the kit, including the lovely 6×6 pattern paper. I will share a link when it is available.

I made an additional 15 cards using Love From Lizi’s November 2018 Card Kit.

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Most products used are from the November Card kit and Love From Lizi November Add Ons. I did include some additional cardstock, dies, and a few other items from my craft stash.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For all sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using the Love From Lizi November Card Kit.

  • Oh goodness, these are so pretty, Kristie. We just can't get enough of seeing you in action. 🙂 Your cards are lovely and it's just so fun to watch your creativity come to life. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

  • Kristie, love your videos.
I am in Australia. Would you consider doing a tutorial without as much layering? Whilst I love the way they look, it makes the cards a bit thick and heavy. Gail

  • Hi Kristie!
I love watching what you do with paper pads, sketches, and card kits and I'm excited to see each new video you post. Thanks for putting in all the work that you do for us.
I have a question. I have several groups of 12×12 designer papers. Should I cut them into 6×6 sizes and use them that way or is it better to leave them in 12×12 sizes and work with them in that size?
    Thanks!

  • Thank you, Jeanne! I enjoyed using this lovely kit. But now I'm a bit sad that the paper is all gone. Good thing I'll have the new December kit to use soon. 🙂

  • Great job with the "extra" set of cards! I They are lovely, and you still have many elements left over–perhaps you need to order another set of paper. My favorites this time are MFT 408 with the bunny and FMS 95, and I have to say the Peel-offs on the Perfect Palette die cards really add something special! Thank you for sharing the details for your decisions, too.

  • Thank you, Gail!
Using layers on my cards is just my style. It's actually really hard for me not to use layers. As long as I don't add extra dimension, my cards go through the mail here just fine without any extra postage. I also use 100# cardstock for my card bases so they are nice and sturdy. You could always follow my tutorials, just don't add the extra layering to your own cards. 🙂

  • Thank you, Joy! I appreciate your kindness and support.
I rarely ever use 12×12 paper. You could cut it up into 6×6 sheets. I know a lot of people find it easier to work with. But sometimes, the pattern designs seem to large for cards. I do own a little bit of 12×12 pattern paper and prefer to leave it as full sheets. Just in case I may need it for a larger project. 🙂

  • Thank you, Jennifer! I do have quite a few extras still left over from the kit. I'm sure I'll be able to use them on a future project though. Or I can let Penny use them for her own creations. 🙂

  • I love to watch your paper pad videos. You have inspired me to get back into card making. I have been a stamper for years, but my interest had waned. This new approach (for me) to designing cards has reinvigorated my creative juices. Thank you so much.

I did have a question for you. Do you have a way of organizing/storing all your card sketches? I find myself rifling through stacks of pages to find the one I want. Just thought you might have an inventive way to keep them organized.

  • Thank you, Linda! I appreciate your kindness and it makes me happy that you are starting up with card making again.
I wish I could tell you have I have an awesome organizational system for storing sketches. I simply keep them in chronological order by different sketch sites and stored in folder.
