Hello friends! I am so honored to be the guest designer for the Love from Lizi July card kit. This is the first time I have every used a kit from Love from Lizi and I enjoyed it so much. It is packed full of awesome crafty goodies. There are enough supplies in there to make a ton of cards.

Go HERE to see my unboxing video where I show everything that is included in the kit.

The July card kit is very summery and beachy. I love all the added glitter and sparkle on many of the pattern papers. And the decoupage sheets are so fun.

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Most products used are from the kit. I did include some additional cardstock, ink, dies, and a few other items from my craft stash.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using the Love from Lizi July card kit.

  • Very nice job Kristie.
I have used the decoupage sheets in the past and have felt the need to use all the layers, silly me, your cards are wonderful using "just enough". I enjoy seeing how you make the kits work wonderfully with your style.
Those who receive these cards are going to be very pleased.

  • Wonderful cards, Kristie. I really like how you used all the fun products. The shaker is great, the use of the ribbon and those neat thin strips adds wonderfully to your cards. Such fun and happy cards. Yea, unless you sign up monthly, the kit is sold out. Oh well! 🙂 Thanks for sharing. You did an excellent job with this kit!

  • These are wonderful cards and I appreciate the fun paper designs. I wil check out the kit.

  • Thank you! I've seen cards using decoupage sheets before and always thought they were way too thick. Sometimes even 6 or 7 layers. So getting the chance to use sheets, I quickly realized, just a couple layers is enough. It would even be cute using the base image and no extra dimension.

  • Thank you, Jeanne! I saw this morning that the kit has already sold out. Wow! That went so fast. But I can understand since the kit comes packed with so many awesome crafty goodies. Subscribing is really the best way to guarantee owning a kit.

  • Thank you, Heidi! Unfortunately, the July kit has already sold out. It went so fast. Subscribing is the best way to guarantee receiving a future kit.

  • It's such a treat to have you narrate your creative process while watching you make cards. I am definitely going to check into Love from Lizi–I adore that shiny starfish and shell paper and pearlescent papers. Too bad (for me) the kit sold out so fast–it had such interesting components!. Your beach pail shaker card is awesome–those extra (colored) wooden shells and starfish really add the finishing touch. Thank you so much for posting this–and all your other videos!

  • Thank you, Jennifer! I will admit, doing the voiceover for this video was a challenge for me. It is not my gift. But I really enjoyed using the July Love from Lizi kit. It is so different than my usual crafty style, but I loved the challenge. I especially liked all the fun decoupage sheets included in the kit. Such a bummer it sold out so quickly though. My daughter loves the beach pail shaker card I made. I keep finding her shaking it, trying to bury the little wooden shells. Lol! 🙂
