Hello friends! I decided to make some more Christmas cards for the year. I used Love From Lizi’s special Christmas Edition Festive Friends card kit. It’s a darling kit full of pattern papers, decoupage sheets, a coordinating stamp set with dies, and so much more. Go HERE to see my unboxing video.
Since the kit includes 24 sheets of pattern paper, I decided to do my usual 6×6 paper pad tutorial style video. My goal was to use up as much pattern paper as possible using card sketches. I also included a lot of extra cardstock since I am a bit obsessed with adding layers to my cards.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one card kit to make 54 cards.
Because it takes many hours to use 24 sheets of pattern paper, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was just over 6 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
In addition to the kit contents, I also used 12 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 15 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Most products used are from the Festive Friends card kit. I did include some additional cardstock, ink, dies, and a few other items from my craft stash. But I really tried to focus on the kit contents. That way everyone can see you don’t really need a lot of other supplies to make beautiful cards.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For all sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me.
