My daughter Penny’s favorite animal has always been a giraffe. I bought this stuffed giraffe, now known as Parkey, before she was born. I used it to take her monthly pictures for her first year. It’s amazing how the giraffe seemed to shrink each month. When Penny was around 18 months old, she started cuddling her giraffe. I think she was around 2 years old when she named the giraffe Parkey. Penny is now 6 1/2 years old and Parkey can no longer hold it’s head up and it’s fur is all worn. All signs of being very loved.
I couldn’t resist buying this sweet giraffe stamp set by Reverse Confetti. I also bought the coordinating die cut set. And I have to say, it is one of the easiest die cuts to line up and cut out the stamped image.

Awww, how sweet your daughters little Parkey is! I love when things are well loved by children and little Parkey is no different. I know, where do the years go? Well let me tell you they go by all to fast! Just yesterday my 6 boys were out back playing and now they are all grown some with families of their own. I just can't believe it. Enjoy your daughter as time does go by all to fast. Your giraffe card is adorable Kristie! Hugs, Brenda
Aww .. Parkey is adorable and so is your card. I still have my kids loveys. Thanks for sharing. Pam
Thank you, Brenda! Wow, 6 boys! I bet they sure kept you busy. I have 1 teenage son and can't believe how quickly time has flown by with him. I definitely try to enjoy all the time I do get with my kids though. Have a great day!
