I kept saying I wouldn’t ever start a blog. I’m really not a computer person and the idea of keeping up a blog just scares me. I would rather spend time making cards, not blogging. But since I enjoy participating in card challenges, I started a Flickr account last year. Unfortunately, the free account only displays the 200 most current uploaded pictures, and I am super close to that limit. So rather than pay for unlimited uploads, I gave in and started this blog. It will mainly be to share my card creations as I continue to participate in card challenges. And since pink is my favorite color, I thought it would be fitting to start with a pretty pink thank you card.

Yay a blog!!! So happy that I can follow you easier now and see your gorgeous cards!!
Love this pink card, so very nice!!
Such a pretty card to start your new blog! It will be easier than you think and there's lots of people to help.
Love it!! 🙂
Nice job! Don't put pressure on yourself about the blog. Just do what you've been doing in a different format because that's what you need it for. If you fall in love with writing in your blog later, BONUS!
My first blog attempt failed because I was spending too much time trying to be pithy and hilarious. Lots o-work, that! My current blog is oft neglected and it only really has stuff related to cards. I'm OK with that, especially since no on really looks at it anyway!
Lovely card. Welcome to the world of blogging. Do what you enjoy and post when you want to share. An advantage of a blog is that you can explain how you made the cards. No pressure. Just have fun.
Welcome to blogging. You won't regret it. My blog is pretty cut snd dried. I post my cards and the chat is kept to minimum. It works for me.
Congratulations on your new blog Kristie! Your cards are terrific, I love the bold contrast of the black with the pinks in this one, and it will make it easy to come visit too. If your careful about keeping the images you post fairly small in files size you should be able to post for a very long time on blogger so it will be well worth the effort of having a blog.
Yeah, so excited to be able to see all your beautiful work!
Welcome to Blogland! What a terrific card for your first post!
Thank you, Danni! You are so sweet!
Thanks for the encouragement, Cherie! I wouldn't have done it without my enabling crafty friends. 🙂
Thank you, Sheila!
Thank you, Kelly! We'll see how it goes for me. I'm not going to stress over it. And maybe I will just love it.
Thank you, Velda!
Thanks, Cora! My blog may be minimal, as well. Right now, I only plan on posting cards, just like I did before on my Flickr account.
Thank you, Paula! I have lots to learn. I've been told by others to keep the files small, and honestly I don't know how to do that. Luckily, my husband knows computers and can help me.
Thank you, Jamie! Are you ever planning on starting up your blog again with all your beautiful journals and other crafts you make? I love seeing your stuff, also. Love you, sis!
Thank you, Dixie!
WTG! I am sure you will love blogging! Your cards always look so put together!
Love your cards – so, I'm glad you started the blog!
Beautiful card! Congrats on your blog!! I too, am not sure about this blogging thing, but I may one day have to as well, for the same reason.
Hooray for starting a blog! I never could remember my Flickr account info and never could comment on your great cards!
VERY proud of you for making the leap, Kristie!!! Lovely card as always. Even if it's pink. 😛
I'm so glad you started a blog, Kristie! I just love your cards – now I can subscribe to your site and try to keep up with you! 🙂 Beautiful work – very inspiring. Thank you for sharing it!
