Hello friends! With Independence Day only a couple days away, I thought it would be fun to make a patriotic card using some of Honey Bee Stamps new products. There are so many great items in their Adventure Awaits release. At first, I passed on the Lovely Layers: Lures die set. But then I kept seeing so many amazing cards from the design team. I finally caved and bought the set. Now that I’ve used it, I will say it’s a really fun set that can be used year round.
For the background of my card, I used the new Fish Net stencil and Sweet Stacks Oval dies. I kept the colors soft so the red, white, and blue lures would really stand out. I love using patriotic colors, even if it’s not for an Independence Day card.

These lures look great in patriotic colors. How fun to use them this way. Thanks so much for sharing, Kristie.
I can see why you got those lures–they are awesome, especially in R,W & B. Honey Bee’s sentiments always look so good when you print & cut them, especially with the drop shadow. Also, that paper pack seems to be useful for almost any occasion! TFS
