Honey Bee Stamps – Holiday Traditions – 29 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! I just couldn’t go through July without posting at least one Christmas in July 6×6 video. I bought the Holiday Traditions 6×6 paper pad by Honey Bee Stamps last year and ran out of time before I could use it. So, I decided it would be perfect for some lovely Christmas cards.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was just under 6 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I first pulled before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 12 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 6 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Traditions 6×6 paper pad.

LOVE this paper pad–so very pretty for traditional Christmas cards, and you chose the perfect sentiments, too. I had to chuckle when you said you were getting slower at making cards. I think you are super fast compared to me! I don’t think you are any slower, you are just taking more time with making things even/level, and having a fun time with all the great bling options you have. (The Honey Bee bling you used is definitely going in my wish list!) I noticed you are going through your twine — what are you going to get when it runs out?? Thanks for a great Christmas in July video!!
Thank you, Jennifer! Traditional Christmas cards have always been my favorite. I think that’s why I love the stamp sets I have by Honey Bee Stamps. I laugh at everyone’s comments about my slower crafting. I guess it’s only me that thinks I’m slower. Lol! Yes, my OCD has me adding all the tiny scraps to level out everything on my cards. That does take a bit more time. I love Honey Bee Stamps bling. I have every color/collection since I use it so much. I don’t think I will ever use up all my twine. I own a LOT!!! 🙂
I’m so glad I took the time to watch this video. I’ve been pinning your cards for a while on Pinterest as some of our styles are very similar. I love that you use lots of layers and embellishments on your cards. Thanks for sharing your talents! I wish i could figure out recording as well – maybe one day lol. Keep on sharing!!
Thank you, Angela! I love using lots of layers on my cards. I think it gives the card a very finished look. 🙂 The video process can be quite a bit of work, but I enjoy doing it. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Wonderful cards, Kristie. That first one is a showstopper. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Jeanne! I love all the sparkle in the first card. 🙂
