Hello friends! After receiving several requests for more 6×6 videos, I decided it was time to turn one into a set of cards. If only I had more crafty time each day.

I chose Great Outdoors by Honey Bee Stamps. They just recently started making 6×6 paper pads and I thought I would try one. It includes 24 sheets of double sided paper, 2 of each design. The paper is a nice weight and I love the earthy colors in this collection.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 36 cards.

Because it takes many hours to turn a 6×6 paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was around 5 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 8 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 12 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –

Black – Recollections

Valentia – Coredinations

Java – Bazzill

Deep Navy – Darice

Greens – unknown

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and the newer Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Honey Bee Stamps Great Outdoors 6×6 paper pad.

  • Gorgeous colours in these papers with such a great masculine feel. Love your use of the peel off stickers on the green card to replace the feel of the paper strips in the sketch. I like a couple of the newer sketches you have used this time too. Thanks for continually sharing your designs.

  • What a great set of cards, Kristie! That looks like a great new paper pad and I really like the masculine feel of it. I need to start making more masculine cards. The new to me sketches look like a lot of fun, too. Thanks for sharing!

  • Amazing work and love this collection. You always do an amazing job and love watching your videos. Thank YOU so much for sharing.

  • Thank you, Melissa! It's always fun using a more masculine looking paper collection. (Even if I do love pink.) I'm completely addicted to using peel off stickers, so I'm always happy to add those to my cards. 🙂

  • Thank you, Jeanne! It's so hard to find masculine paper collections that aren't specifically for little boys. I really like the new Honey Bee Stamps 6×6's and will use them again. 🙂

  • I really like this paper pad –the navy, oranges and light green in graphic patterns were perfect for your sentiment-focused cards. The specialty paper is amazing–you did such a great job at pairing it with the paper pad's choices. And good sketches. Faves this time: MjM 519, OWH 154 with the embossed specialty paper, washi tape and peel-offs–especially the ones with white/silver and the light green.

  • Thanks, Jennifer! I really enjoyed this paper collection. It's so nice finding a 6×6 that works well for masculine and feminine cards. The specialty cardstock and peel offs are fun to include. 🙂

  • Thank you! Using 6×6 paper pads will always be my favorite way to make cards. I am trying to make sure to do a couple 6×6 videos every month. Some months just get a bit busy.
