Hello friends! I think patterned paper will always be my favorite crafty item. But I’ll admit, hot foiling is very fun! I decided to try a nice bright pink foil on black cardstock and I LOVE the results. I used Honey Bee Stamps new Foiled Fluttering Hearts hot foil plate and some pretty pink glimmer foil.
The new Heart Hugs die set from Honey Bee Stamps is probably their most popular item from their Happy Hearts release. I love the sweet critters you can create using the die set. The hedgehog is my favorite. Naturally I made a pink hedgehog for my card. It really pops against the dark background.

What an adorable pink Hedgehog! I think the background looks great. I love the way the pink looks on the black card stock. I like the slightly imperfect impression of the heart foil! Is getting a full impression a matter of playing around with the sandwich? I have a glimmer machine but haven’t played with it too much to know the tricks. TFS!!
What a fun and delightful card. I’m glad you are having some fun foiling. It’s always great to add a new technique to the repertoire. 🙂 The hedgehog is so cute, too. You can’t help but smile at this lovely card.
