Hello friends! As much as I love the color pink, I also love using patriotic colors on my cards. Whenever I find amazing patriotic patterned paper, I buy several so I’ll be set for a year or 2. When I saw Honey Bee Stamps Americana collection, I knew it would be perfect for Veterans Day cards. They also released a couple patriotic stamp sets, so I bought those as well. The Because of the Brave set has so many wonderful sentiments for Independence Day, Veterans Day, or just to thank someone for their service. There’s also a red rubber set called Land of the Free that creates a full background of patriotic sentiments.
I made 40 Veterans Day cards.
I did some mass card production so I could get ahead on Veterans Day cards next year.
I will be giving the cards to residents at a nearby retirement home. I will include a handwritten message so the cards are Happy Mail. I always include envelopes with cards I donate and I will stamp either an image or sentiment on the front.
