Sandy Allnock is currently offering a free Go For the Gold online card class. It consists of 7 different videos that focus on using some amazing gold products for card making. She provides great comparisons of a variety of products. THIS card in lesson #4 inspired me to pull out my Finetec gold paints and make a Christmas card. I loved Sandy’s tip on making your own gold paper by simply painting the outer edge of your background paper with gold paints. Now my background paper matches perfectly with the pretty gold on my card.
You can see the pretty gold shimmer a little better in this picture.
