Lately, I’ve been coloring images for almost all my cards. And as much as I’ve enjoyed coloring up some darling pink creatures, it was time to make a card without any colored images on it. I used a simple sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and added just a few extra details.

Sketch – Freshly Made Sketches #300

Paper – Reverse Confetti – True Love collection

Stamp – Reverse Confetti

Arrow die cut – Paper Smooches

Oval die cuts – Spellbinders

Ink – Reverse Confetti

Brads – from stash

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  • I really like how you can make a great card with just a sentiment and fun paper. This is really helpful for me since I donate most of my cards and many recipients are older and/or not "into cutsie" images. (I know–who doesn't like a pink critter?) Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Thank you, Jennifer! I never used to color images at all. But there are so many cute stamp images, I figured I could handle some simple coloring. But it's always good to make some cards that aren't so cutsie. Although I can't imagine who wouldn't love a pink critter. 😉
