I finished the summery 6×6 paper pad! It doesn’t usually take me quite so long to use up a 6×6, but I get rather busy in the summer and don’t really spend a lot of time crafting. I used just one sketch and made 18 cards. (I know, not very exciting.) But now, on to fall cards!

Sketch – Operation Write Home #154

Paper – Doodlebug – Fun in the Sun collection

Flower and leaf die cut – The Stamps of Life

Circle die cuts – Spellbinders

Sentiment stamps – My Favorite Things and Hero Arts

Ribbon – May Arts

Ink – Versafine

Embossing folders – Sizzix and Darice

Some of my favorite and commonly used crafting tools:

Tonic Studios guillotine paper trimmer

Scotch ATG (Advanced Tape Glider) glue gun

Sizzix BIGkick die cut machine

We R Memory Keepers brad setter and piercing tool

We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper

Scotch Mounting Tape 3/4″

Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive liquid glue

MISTI stamping tool

Accent Opaque Digital 100# cover weight paper for card bases

  • Hi Kristie
Thank you so much for your posts on the way you use 6×6 pads. I cannot express how much you have totally inspired me. I am in the process of sorting my craft room and I forgot how many lovely paper pads I have and I don't use any of the them, but no more. I'm going to attempt to use one paper pad or pack at a time and see where I go. Looking forward to the next post.
    Hugs

  • Thank you, Tracey! I'm so glad I can inspire you to use some of those 6×6's. Then you can go and buy some new ones. 😉
