I thought I was all done making Christmas cards for the year, but then I saw the Wise Men Still Seek Him 6×6 paper pad from Echo Park. It’s a beautiful paper collection. As much as I enjoy the fun and cute Christmas papers, it’s nice to find a Christian based 6×6 paper pad.

There are 24 double-sided sheets with 4 of each design. I just love all the sentiment/image cut outs included and actually used all 24 of the 2″ x 3″ size. If you are needing to make some quick Christmas cards, this would be the perfect paper pad because of all the sentiment cut outs.

Since I am planning on using this set of cards for my personal Christmas cards, I didn’t use any extra dimension. It’s usually better to keep the cards fairly flat when mailing them, unless you want to pay extra postage.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 33 cards.

I recorded my entire process of disappearing the 6×6 paper pad. The video is sped up 7 times since the full recording time was around 4 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 27 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 2 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Here are the pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s Wise Men Still Seek Him 6×6 paper pad.

  • What a special treat–another video! That is a great find on paper. Where do you usually shop for your 6×6 pads? I hadn't seen it before. I love that you used the cut-apart sentiments (I have been loving those lately). The double-matting them gave them such a finished, elegant look, as did the shimmery gold card stock. (I put those Lil Inker cover plates on my Christmas Wishlist, too.) Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for another dose of inspiration! I am off to make some Christmas cards!

  • Sweet !! Another video so soon, thanks so much. They are always so inspiring. This is a gorgeous paper pad, and I really love the cards that you have created with it. MFT 354 is my favorite sketch/ layout in this video. I think that the stitched background dies add so much elegance to your cards.
Can't wait for the end of my work week to start on more cards ♥.

  • Love these cards they are beautiful! Can you tell me what cardstock you use? Is there a particular brand you like more then others?

  • Kristie, this is wonderful. I really like the elegant look of these cards. The colors are beautiful. I have to say, you are inadvertantly quite the enabler! I have some fun goodies on their way to me thanks to your inspiration. 🙂 Wish I'd have seen this pad earlier, I could have added it to my card. Ahhhh well, I'm still working on some other pads/cards. Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂 Have a wonderful day!

  • Oops, I meant in my cart! LOL I don't see an email to contact you directly. Wanted to share I was in Joann's over the weekend, taking advantage of their cardstock sale. 😉 A nice lady stopped me to ask if I had any advice for her on tools and such for starting out with cardmaking. I pointed out some tools but also highly recommended your blog. I think your tutorials are wonderful for cardmakers just starting out. Maybe you'll get a new follower. 🙂 It was nice being able to recommend you and your blog.

  • Kristie, you spoil us! Another great video. My favorite layout of this video is Mojo 469. I also love your paper choice.
Do you have a favorite layout/sketch that is your "go-to"?
Thank you for all your hard work on these videos.

  • Thank you! I was really busy over the holiday weekend trying to get this video and blog post ready in case anyone needed some more inspiration for Christmas cards. Especially since I just love the paper collection so much. I usually buy most my 6×6 paper pads online from either A Cherry on Top or Scrapbook (dot) com. I do have a Ben Franklin about 30 minutes from my house. But they cater more to scrapbookers and don't carry very many 6×6 paper pads. But I asked them to order this collection for me and they did. 🙂
I hope you get some of the Lil Inker Designs stitched dies. I put a couple more on my wish list. Happy Christmas card crafting to you!

  • Thank you! I was super busy trying to get this video and blog post up in plenty of time before Christmas. Especially if someone needed a little more inspiration for their own Christmas cards. The stitched dies from Lil Inker Designs are so fun for adding a little extra texture without any bulk. I have a few more on my Christmas wish list. 🙂
    Happy crafting to you!

  • Thank you, Claudine! I really appreciate your kindness.
All of the cardstock for this set of cards was from my stash, so I don't know the brands. I'm not too particular which brand I use. Although for black cardstock, I always use the Recollections cardstock in the packs from Michaels since it's not a super heavy weight. For all other colors, I search my large stash of paper first. If I don't already have a coordinating color, then I go to Joanns. I usually buy Bazzill or the Coredinations brand since that's what they carry.

  • Thank you, Jeanne! Sorry about the enabling. 😉 Lol! I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with your new crafting goodies. I missed this paper collection at first too. I requested my local Ben Franklin to order it for me and they did. 🙂

  • Sorry, I don't have my email listed. You are always welcome to send me a private message on Facebook or Instagram though.
How wonderful that you were able to assist a new cardmaker on what was needed to get started. You are so kind to suggest she check out my blog. I truly appreciate the recommendation and support. Thank you so much! 🙂

  • Aw, thank you Sherrie! My subscribers deserve to be spoiled since they are always so kind to me. 🙂
I absolutely love Mojo Monday sketch #469. Sometimes a sketch full of different elements is just so fun.
I have several favorite/go-to sketches. OWH #123 and OWH #219 are a couple. I am planning on doing a video sometime early 2018 featuring all my favorite sketches. I just haven't decided which paper collection to use yet. 🙂

  • I'm happy to hear I'm good enough to enable others. I never thought my crazy OCD style of card making would ever be popular with other crafters. And I definitely never thought I'd have a YouTube channel, with subscribers. 🙂
Unfortunately, the Paper Smooches die in an older one and it looks like it has been discontinued. I searched several different online stores and can't seem to find it. I believe it was called a Hot Spot.

  • You are so talented! I watch ever video and can't wait for your new ones. I was wondering if you might do one where you make cards without any sentiments. =)

  • Thank you for watching my vidoes and for your kind words. I really appreciate it. I rarely every make cards without a sentiment on it. Maybe if I find the right paper collection. Have a wonderful day!

  • BRAVO! Thanks so much for posting the video as well as posting the measurements here on your blog. The cards are amazing.Thank you for sharing!

  • Thank you, Loretta! I appreciate your kindness and support. I'm always happy to share sketch measurements with fellow crafters. Have a wonderful day! 🙂

  • Hi Kristie
As usual a fabulous use of all the sketches. Just love watching the videos and great inspiration.
    Happy Holidays

  • Thank you, Linda! I'm so happy I could provide some inspiration for you. This was one of my favorite Christmas 6×6 paper pads. 🙂

  • You are amazing! I'm so glad I found your blog. This is just what my mojo needed. Thank you SO MUCH for the tutorial and measurements. I have this 6×6 pad, and plan on using your sketches and ideas for my Christmas cards. I'll be sure to link to your blog when I post to mine. Have you created cards with these 6×6 pads…. Carta Bella, A Very Merry Christmas; Echo Park, A Perfect Christmas; Carta Bella, Cabin Fever? Again, thank you so much. Your cards are just beautiful and inspiring.

  • Aw, thank you Janis! I really appreciate your kindness. I'm happy I can provide some inspiration for your Christmas cards. I do have a video/blog post using EP A Perfect Christmas. And I have used CB Have a Merry Christmas. (Not sure if that's the same one you are asking about.) I have not used Cabin Fever though.
