Echo Park’s Plant Lady – 30 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! It was time to tackle a new 6×6 paper pad. This time I used Echo Park’s Plant Lady. I will admit I’m not much of a plant person, but I just love the colors and designs in this paper collection so I had to buy it. There are quite a few fun sentiment cut aparts included in the paper pad, but I decided to focus more on general sentiments.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was just under 6 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I first pulled before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 7 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 15 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors –
Black – Recollections
Aspen – Bazzill
Evergreen – Darice
Bazzill Orange – Bazzill
Peach Fuzz – Coredinations
Light Blue – unknown
Intense Cobalt – Coredinations
Fig Swirl – Bazzill
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. I also included some sketches by Queen & Company that were designed to work with their Foundation die sets. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s Plant Lady 6×6 paper pad.

That's definitely a unique paper pad and probably not one I'd pick up if I were being totally honest. BUT, you made some pretty neat cards with the paper. I really like to see how nicely a paper can look in a sketch. Thanks for sharing, Kristie and and expanding how I think about paper pads. Have a great week! 🙂
That cactus paper is so cute and your cactus die looks great in shiny paper! I also really liked the watercolored "sunset" paper. I think my favorites this time were OWH #3 (and oldie but goodie!!) and the Q&Co curved border die cards, though I liked all of them. I recently made 70+ cards for a nursing home and can really appreciate your method of making cards. It took me FOREVER not doing it like this! Going to try again–your way. TFS!!

Thanks, Jeanne! I was really drawn to the colors when I first saw the collection at Creativation. And I just love the cactus paper. 🙂
