Echo Park | The First Noel | 32 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! I think it’s officially Christmas card making season. I did make some Christmas cards earlier in the year, but now I’m ready to really focus on them. Now is the time many companies are starting to release their Christmas product lines. I usually need close to 300 Christmas cards every year. About half for donation and about half to send to friends and family. I really should count to see how many cards I already have finished. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m already close to my goal.
I love to send Christian themed Christmas cards as my personal cards. I’m so happy that Echo Park has been releasing a Christian collection every year. This year’s collection is called The First Noel and it’s gorgeous! My only complaint is that I should have purchased 2 paper pads. Lol!
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 14 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 6 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors – Black – Recollections Brown – unknown Deep Navy – Coredinations Rainforest – Bazzill Golden – Coredinations Scarlet – Coredinations
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s The First Noel 6×6 paper pad.

I bought the 6×6 paper pad as soon as it became available in Australia and have started making some cards from it for members of Women’s Guild from my church who haven’t been able to meet for the last 18 months because of the pandemic. I am really pleased to get some more inspiration for these papers.

Beautiful cards, Kristie. I can see why you really liked this paper pad. You showcased it wonderfully.
