Echo Park – Coffee and Friends – 24 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! I keep buying fun coffee themed paper packs lately. This time it was Echo Park’s Coffee and Friends 6×6 paper pad. The colors are so lovely. There are plenty of patterns that aren’t coffee themed, so the paper could work for a variety of card themes. The paper pad includes a ton of fun image/sentiment cut aparts. I did use quite a few. I also used some cut apart sentiments from Paper Rose, but only one sentiment stamp.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was just over 4 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time.
Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 4 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 9 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors – Black – Recollections Lei Flower – Coredinations Avocado – Bazzill Pear – Bazzill Aloe Vera – Bazzill
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s Coffee and Friends 6×6 paper pad.

I LOVE this video! The colors are so soft and comforting, and so is the them (coffee)! You did a beautiful job with this 6×6 paper pad Kristie, thank you so much for sharing your talents with us! I’m especially excited because I have this paper pad in my stash so the timing is perfect! I don’t have the “Love from Lizy” dots, do you suppose I cold use Nuvo drops instead?
Thanks again! Love your designs!

Aw, thank you Wendy! I really enjoyed using this paper collection. The soft colors are very pretty. You could definitely use Nuvo drops or some other bling in place of the Love From Lizi mini circle peel offs. 🙂
The colors in the paper pad are lovely. You’ve showcased them wonderfully. I like that you can make non coffee themed cards as well, since I don’t drink the stuff. 🙂 Great job.
Thank you so much, Jeanne! There are plenty of non-coffee themed papers in this collection. I still enjoy making coffee cards though since most of my friends drink coffee. 🙂
Thank you, Debra! I don’t drink coffee either, but most of my friends and family do. I seem to be addicted to coffee themed paper collections lately. Lol!
Great group of cards, Kristie! I SO wanted that coffee cup die, but alas, Li’l Inker is closed. (An aside–I lived about a mile away and passed the HQ/home office hundreds of times without realizing it was there. so sad ) I love the colors of this paper pad and you paired it with beautiful background papers, especially that deep green. TFS!
Thank you! It was very sad when Lil Inker Designs closed their doors. I love their products so much. It’s hard for me not to include them in a video once in awhile. Bummer you never got to visit their HQ.
Do you use pre-made cards or do you just cut and pre-make them yourself prior to filming? I’m looking for a good pre-made card base suggestion if you have one thanks! I’m looking forward to using this paper pad. Thanks for the video!
Hello! Sorry I don’t have a recommendation for a pre-made card base. I purchase cardstock in bulk from a local paper store. I get Accent Opaque 120 lb cardstock. I pay them to cut the cardstock to card base sizes for me. (This saves me so much time!) I crease the card bases at home with a manual creasing machine. My 11 year old daughter likes to help me crease the card bases. 🙂
These are wonderful cards. (I saw them on SB.com)
The card that says Birthday Wishes and has a diagonal die cut, is that Fondation 1 dies by Queen & Co?
I love their die selection and I’ve always loved the Peel Offs by Love from Lizzi.
You amaze me when you do these long videos. Do you take a break?
Best Wishes. Cindy

Because I don’t drink coffee, I wouldn’t buy this paper pad. But you used some really good sketches to showcase the product. As usual, awesome work!
