Echo Park – A Lumberjack Christmas – 35 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! For the next couple months, I will be working on Halloween, fall and Christmas cards; in no particular order. I like to bounce around with the different themes. I will still use a few non-holiday collections, just to mix things up a bit. Since I need a lot of Christmas cards, I decided to start off September with a Christmas video. I used Echo Park’s A Lumberjack Christmas 6×6 paper pad. I love the colors with the addition of kraft and black in the collection.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was around 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I first pulled before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 15 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 7 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors – Black – Recollections Mud Puddles – Bazzill Ruby Slipper – Bazzill Scarlet – Coredinations Green – unknown
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s A Lumberjack Christmas 6×6 paper pad.
