With winter soon coming to an end, it was time to make some fun spring colored cards. I used Doodlebug’s Under the Sea 6×6 paper pad and my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make 35 cards. The colors and designs in this paper collection are definitely more feminine, so it was fun to pull out lots of purple and pink cardstock.
I decided to turn on the camera again while I disappeared the 6×6 paper pad. The video is sped up 10 times. The real time was around 7 1/2 hours; not including die cutting time.
I used 19 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid cardstock. Here are all the leftover scraps from the paper pad.
Here are the pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. I saw the last card being made, I had small square scraps on my craft table, thought,"Hey, I can do that!" and I did. I like the tutorials, but I am still to the point of needing a template to figure out how to get the most out of each sheet. I have found a few "One Sheet Wonders" and am trying those out.

Thank you, Gerri! I am a HUGE card sketch fan and have been for a long time. I'm so glad you were able to follow the final sketch. One Sheet Wonders are a perfect way to really utilize every last scrap of paper. I've tried them before with 12×12 paepr. I know there are lots of different ones out there to try.

Thank you, Tia! I appreciate your kind words. 🙂 I have never taken a picture of the leftover cardstock scraps before. The numbers of sheets I use are different with each paper pad. I also keep all my leftover cardstock scraps and use them for future cards. Or my kids use them for little projects.
I loved your video so much I just had to watch it twice! I wrote down all the measurements and plan to make some cards like yours! First time to watch you making cards and I loved your finished creations. I liked how you added your own idea of little embellishments to give bling!
