Welcome to the eighth post in my latest 6×6 Series. I’m using Doodlebug’s Puppy Love 6×6 paper pad to make cards. If you’re new to my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial, check it out HERE.

With so many long paper scraps leftover, I need a sketch to use up lots of strips. This sketch from My Favorite Things was perfect. I do not design card sketches, but I do figure out measurements for A2 size cards.

I made 7 cards using this sketch.

Sketch – My Favorite Things #278, Stamps – My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn, Heart die cut – Lawn Fawn, Embossing folders – Cuttlebug and Darice, Ink – Memento

Some of my favorite and commonly used crafting tools:

Tonic Studios guillotine paper trimmer

Scotch ATG (Advanced Tape Glider) glue gun

Sizzix BIGkick die cut machine

We R Memory Keepers brad setter and piercing tool

We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper

Scotch Mounting Tape 3/4″

Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive liquid glue

MISTI stamping tool

Accent Opaque Digital 100# cover weight paper for card bases

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  • You should be close to finishing up with this paper pad Kristie, right? Seems like it anyway. I love the sketch for this one, really makes good use of those longer scraps. The cards are adorable! Hugs, Brenda

  • Yes, the paper pad is just about gone. I always have lots of long scraps, so this sketch will definitely be used again. 🙂

  • This sketch is great for "scraps" but it doesn't look like it is a bunch of scraps. Love the embossing folders–perfect for this project!!

  • Thank you, Jennifer! This was the first time I used this sketch and I really liked it. Definitely great for finishing off a 6×6!
