Doodlebug’s Here Comes Santa Claus – cards from 6×6 paper pad

Welcome to my Christmas in July 6×6 Series.

It’s never too early to get started on Christmas cards. I tend to forget about it until the beginning of November. Then I’m trying to rush to get them all done and ready to mail. Not this year. I decided to use the Here Comes Santa Claus collection from Doodlebug Design and my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make cards. It feels great to already have a nice stack of Christmas cards done. Especially in July!

I made a total of 43 cards using one 6×6 paper pad.

I recorded my entire process of disappearing the 6×6 paper pad. The video is sped up 8 times since the full recording time was around 5 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cut time. I also created separate videos for each sketch used. In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 37 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ solid colored cardstock. Here are all the leftover scraps.

Here are the pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size.
