Welcome to Part Seven of my latest 6×6 series. I’m using the Fairy Tales collection from Doodlebug Design and my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make cards.

While most of the patterns in the collection are full of rainbows and unicorns, there is one design that definitely felt more like birthday or celebration paper. I decided to make some girly birthday cards with it and combined it only with solid cardstock.

I made 4 cards using this sketch.

Sketch – Mojo Monday #457

Stamp – Reverse Confetti

Stitched rounded square and rectangle die cuts – My Favorite Things

Stitched background die cut – Lil Inker Designs

Small circle punch – McGill

Ink – Lawn Fawn

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  • Definitely a birthday feel. I really like how you added interest to the background paper with the die cut.

  • Thank you! The background stitched dies from Lil Inker Designs are so fun. Originally I had dry embossed the pink cardstock, but it looked too busy with the stitched background.
