Welcome to Part Two of my latest 6×6 series. I’m using the Fairy Tales collection from Doodlebug Design and my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make cards.

Besides all the pink, my favorite part of this collection were all the fun rainbow unicorns. Perfect opportunity to pull out my unicorn stamp sets, even if I only own 2. (But that’s only because my little girl is a bigger fan of giraffes.)

When I first saw this sketch from My Favorite Things, I knew I would be using it. I just love all the different elements on it. So fun!

I made 2 cards using this sketch.

Sketch – My Favorite Things #327

Unicorn stamp – Reverse Confetti

Markers – Copic

Ink – Lawn Fawn

Glitter pen – Wink of Stella

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

  • You really do a great job with sketches – I would have looked at it and never imagine that the card would be so cute!

  • Thanks, Jennifer! I just fell in love with this sketch and all the fun elements to it. This was actually the first time I ever tried the sketch.

  • You always make the greatest cards. When you are using the designs and creating layers for it, which measurement do you use for the layer? Is it the measurement on the design or do you increase it by 1/8"? Or do you decrease of the size of the patterned paper?

  • Thank you, Elaine! The measurements I list on the sketches are for the pattern papers. If you want to add layers, you would need to increase the measurements by 1/8". Not everyone likes including layers, so that's why I write the measurements that way.
