Hello friends! My first 6×6 video for the year features Doodlebug’s adorable Lots of Love collection. It’s the perfect collection for Valentines or Love cards. I used quite a few general sentiments on the front of the cards, but I’ll be stamping Happy Valentine’s Day on the inside and giving them to the residents at a nearby retirement home. I think Doodlebug images always make people smile. 😊

Since most of the patterns in the collection are on the busier side, I did use some coordinating Doodlebug petite prints. I have several of their 6×6 collections.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 36 cards.

Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 14 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 6 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –
Dark Pink – Recollections
Light Pink – Tonic Studios
Mediterranean – Coredinations
Scattered Straw – Coredinations
Red Devil – Bazzill

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug Design’s Lots of Love 6×6 paper pad.

  • These came out wonderfully, Kristie. What a bright and cheerful collection of cards. Sure to bring a smile of delight to the seniors at the retirement home. Thanks so much for sharing! Lots of great card ideas here! 🙂

  • SOOO cute! You made good use of the Petite Patterns to balance out the busier designs. It’s so nice they all go together so well. The pops were particularly cute–esp. the telephone and lady bugs!! You must have tons of extra ephemera. Sorry to hear you were feeling bad earlier and glad to hear you are better now! TFS the Doodlebug love!
