Hello friends! Doodlebug did it again and released an adorable collection I just couldn’t resist. It’s called Over the Rainbow. It’s filled with fun spring images and cheerful colors. I purchased the 6×6 paper pad, a few 12×12 sheets, the Odds N Ends and Chit Chat ephemera packs and also a couple of the adorable Doodle-pops.
I really tried to focus on just the collection. No stamps at all this time and I only used a handful of dies. Mostly circles and ovals. For embellishments, I pulled out several older Shape Sprinkles sets. I really need to use them up before buying anymore.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 36 cards.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 16 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 5 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

For the past several years, Doodlebug has included a sheet of cute tags in their paper pads. On the 12×12 sheet they are fine, but in the 6×6 paper pad, I personally think they are just too small. Since I donate many of my cards to seniors, I know the itty bitty sentiments are hard to see. I did use 6 of the tags in my video, but I’ll be giving away the rest. Be sure to leave a comment on my video and I’ll randomly select someone. (Plus, I’ll toss in some other crafty goodies.)
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug Design’s Over the Rainbow 6×6 paper pad and a few 12×12 sheets from the collection.
