Doodlebug Design – Hippity Hoppity – 40 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! With Easter only a few weeks away, it was time to get busy on my Easter cards. I decided to start with Doodlebug’s Hippity Hoppity collection. They always make the cutest collections. I usually purchase the 6×6 paper pad and ephemera pack. But this time I bought a few extras from the collection including some of the 12×12 pattern paper sheets and Chit Chat ephemera pack. I didn’t use any stamp sets since I had all the ephemera sentiments and cut aparts to use instead.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was around 5 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time.
Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 7 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 16 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Most of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug’s Hippity Hoppity 6×6 paper pad.
