Hello friends! It’s time for my first Christmas 6×6 video of the year. I pulled out Doodlebug Design’s Candy Cane Lane collection. It was released in 2022, but is still available. As with all Doodlebug collections, it’s filled with fun designs and sweet images. I used the 6×6 paper pad, but it’s also available in 12×12. I also used the coordinating Odds n Ends and Chit Chat ephemera packs. After making 30 cards, I sill have a ton of ephemera leftover. But since I always purchase multiple Doodlebug paper pads, I’ll simply save it for the next time I pull out this collection. (We won’t talk about the fact that I have at least 4 Doodlebug Design Christmas collections in my stash.)
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 30 Christmas cards.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 7 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 9 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

I very rarely use the tiny tag sheets that are included in Doodlebug’s 6×6 paper pads. If I want the cute designs, I will purchase the individual 12×12 sheet. I just find the mini tags a bit too small. I may cut them down and pop them on the inside of the card for a little extra fun.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements.
