Hello friends! Doodlebug Design is releasing a new Halloween collection soon called Hey Pumpkin. You can pre-order HERE. They always offer adorable and not creepy Halloween collections, so I will be buying the next release. I recently did a huge destash of my crafty goodies, and I found a partial paper pad of Doodlebug’s Boos & Brews collection. No ephemera, just the paper pad. It was released in 2016. I had about 7 or 8 full sheets and a bunch of scraps leftover. Plus some cut apart images and sentiments from the paper pad. I decided I needed to finish it off before even thinking about the coming soon Hey Pumpkin collection.
If you don’t want to wait for the new collection to be released, you can still purchase Doodlebug’s Sweet & Spooky and Monster Madness collections. Both are super cute!
I worked on the paper pad in-between other projects, so I didn’t record a video. But I still wanted to share the cards I made.
From the partial paper pad, I was able to make 16 Halloween cards. These will all be going to the residents at a nearby retirement home. I already have enough Halloween cards for this year, so I will set them aside for next year. At this rate, I will have enough cards for this year and next year. Lol!
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug Design’s Boos & Brews 6×6 paper pad.
