To make using this paper pad even more fun, Scrapbena Creations and I decided to do another collaboration. Together, we make a total of 28 cards. Jenn is amazing at coloring and used some super cute images on her cards. I don’t color so I focused on the pattern papers and ephemera. I love how different our cards are using the same paper collection. You can check out Jenn’s video HERE.
I made a total of 18 cards, but did not finish off the paper pad completely. Almost though. I have so many other videos I want to work on and decided to stop after 18 cards. I donated the paper scraps to my daughter. She was thrilled to receive more than just a few tiny pieces. Lol!
Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I first pulled before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
Cardstock colors that were used on the cards Bazzill Red – Bazzill Primary Yellow – Coredinations Lime Crush – Bazzill Navy – Recollections Bue Oasis – Bazzill
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug Design’s Bar-b-Cute 6×6 paper pack.

Adorable cards! They are sure to make anyone smile! I am going to have to buy this paper pad because who knew ants could be so cute? I am sure Penny will love to make cards with all the scraps you have left. Off to go watch Jenn’s video. It really is fun to see all the cute cards you two come up with! PS – your nails look fabulous!
Thanks, Jennifer! It’s soooo hard to resist all of Doodlebug’s paper collections. I almost did, but Jenn convinced me I needed this one. Lol! Penny was very happy to receive a large pile of scraps this time. There was even one full sheet leftover. I love doing these collaborations with Jenn. Her coloring is always amazing! (Red nail polish isn’t my favorite, but it coordinates nicely with so many paper collections.)
Thanks, Deanne! Not a dumb question at all. I generally add 1/8″ to the measurements on the sketches for my cardstock layers. I’ll add 1/4″ if I want a wider layer. 🙂
Great job on these cards, Kristie! They are so fun and cheerful. Makes me smile for sure! 🙂
Thank you, Jeanne! Doodlebug always makes the cutest collections. It’s hard to resist all the cuteness. 🙂

Kind of a dumb question, but for the card stock pieces, do you just cut those an 1/8 of an inch bigger than the design pieces? Thanks, great cards!
