Hello friends! I took last weekend off from videos so I could focus on some donation cards I needed to finish.

I started with writing messages inside all the Halloween cards I will be giving to residents at a local retirement home. Here are a few pictures showing my process of getting the cards ready.

I gather all the Halloween cards I’ve made over the past few months.

Then I stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and include a handwritten message.

Next I stamp the back of the cards.

I add a sentiment to the front of the envelopes.

Then I seal the envelopes with some fun washi tape.

Now I can drop off the cards to a local retirement home. ?

I also make cards for a small charity near my house. They have a need for Thank You and Thinking of You cards. For November, they requested 30 Thankful for You cards to give to all their awesome volunteers.

For many of the cards, I used an assortment of autumn goodies from my craft room.

For the last set of cards, I decided to use Pink and Main’s wreath and fall wreath decor dies. It was fun assembling the autumn wreaths. Since the charity mails most of the cards, I make sure to keep them nice and flat.

  • Kristie that is such a nice way to brighten someone's day.
Kindness has a way of returning to those who share it selflessly ♥.
    Have a wonderful week.

  • That is so sweet. It must take a while to get those all written. I am sure the recipients will be very happy!

  • Do you write the same written message in every card. I'm prepping some to take to my local retirement home and struggle what to write on the inside. Thank you for sharing

  • Thank you so much for sharing what you do with your cards after you make them. The inside sentiment is lovely. The stamp on the back of the card is wonderful. Your time and effort are surely appreciated by so many people, me included. Thanks so much!

  • Thank you! I really believe a little kindness can make a huge difference in someone's life. We can all do our part.
I hope you have a beautiful week!

  • It does take some time to get the cards all ready to drop off. But if I can make someone smile, it's worth it. 🙂

  • Hello, Heather! Yes, I do write the same message in every card. I'm not sure if the residents share the cards with one another, but I don't think I could come up with up to 90 different messages. I always keep the messages positive and uplifting. I love that you are sharing your cards with a local retirement home as well. 🙂

  • You're welcome, Jeanne! I enjoy sharing my cards with others and get a lot of questions about the cards I donate. Have a wonderful day!
