Hello friends! I have a new 6×6 paper pad tutorial to share. I’m using the No Prob Llama paper collection from DCWV. I actually bought the 6×6 as sort of a joke. When my daughter was younger, one of her favorite books was Is Your Mama a Llama? I would read it to her all the time and then she would ask me, “Mama, are you a llama?” After a while, I even started calling her my little llama. The pet names eventually stopped, but every once in awhile, I’ll still call her my little llama. But now she’ll roll her eyes at me. After all, she’s all grown up at 8 years old.

My favorite part of the paper collection is all the magenta foil accents included. There are also a few sheets of cut aparts with fun sentiments and cute images. I used a couple different stamp sets in addition to the cut aparts. The Ink Road Stamps was very generous and provided me with several of their unique stamps sets. My favorite set is called Bloom Where You are Planted. It includes some lovely flowers and uplifting sentiments.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 33 cards.

Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was around 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 9 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 14 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using DCWV No Prob Llama 6×6 paper pad.

  • Love watching your videos. They have taught me how to use every inch of paper. Looking forward to more. Thanks

  • Great job with this fun themed paper, Kristie. I really like the magenta foil! You've used a few new sketches I think. All the cards look great. Thanks so much for all the time and attention you give to your cards. I always enjoy seeing what you create. I also enjoy taking up the challenge of creating many cards from my 6×6 pads. I don't always make the same number as you do, but it's fun to try! 🙂 Have a great day!

  • What a cool paper pad–and your personal story makes it even more special!! I LOVE the magnetic magenta accents! My absolute favorite card in this video was OWH 192–the balance of the magenta background rectangle perfectly complements the metallic llama body. I also love the OWH #6 and the Reverse Confetti. They are all pretty great actually. Thanks for another video–so much fun!

  • Thank you for watching my videos! I really appreciate the support. Isn't it fun to really use up all the lovely paper in a paper pad? 🙂

  • Thank you, Jeanne! The magenta foil is so lovely. I see gold and silver foil all the time, but this is the first paper pad I've seen with magenta. I love that you are challenging yourself to using 6×6's for card making. Isn't it fun seeing how many lovely cards you can make? Thank you for your continued kindness and support. I hope your day is filled with joy. 🙂

  • It really is a fun paper collection. The magenta foil is so lovely and there's a lot of it included in the paper pad. I don't use the large images very often, but I just loved the llama with the magenta foil. OWH #192 was the perfect sketch to include a large image. Thank you for your kindness. I hope you have a beautiful day!

  • Hello! I. Just. Want you to know that you are my source of inspiration. On my rough days when all i have is fatigue i just let your videos play. Thank you for doing this work. I love it and look every day for a new post. You are a cancer patient’s sanity! Your work is therapy for my mind!

  • I felt the challenge and will complete my pad tomorrow. I think I will have 42 cards. I made it harder on myself on the next to the last sketch, though, and matted all the little squares, too. Oh my!! Next time I will remember I don’t have to do that. LOL TFS, Kristie. You always inspire me!!

  • Aw, thank you for your kind words and support. I really appreciate it. I'm so sorry to hear about your battle with cancer. It's such a horrible disease. My younger sister has been battling metastatic cancer for many years. I'm happy my videos can provide a little relief for you.

  • So awesome! 42 cards! I love that you took on the challenge. There's nothing wrong with matting all those small squares. But I'm sure it was a lot of work. Lol! Thank you so much for your continued support. Have a wonderful day!
