Hello friends! I hope everyone is ready for my first 6×6 paper pad video of 2020. I decided to start off by using Carta Bella’s Snow Much Fun collection. I donate cards every month to the residents at a local retirement home and this collection will be perfect for some wintry cards for January. I will write an uplifting message inside each card, so hopefully they will brighten someone’s day.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 32 cards.
Because it takes many hours to turn a 6×6 paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was around 4 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
I’ve had a few requests to see a picture of all cardstock I first pull before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 2 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 13 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors –
Black tie – Bazzill
Aqua – Bazzill
Lei Flower – Coredinations
Light blue – unknown
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. I also included some sketches by Queen & Company that were designed to work with their Foundation die sets. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Carta Bella’s Snow Much Fun 6×6 paper pad.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.
I appreciate your kindness and support!
And you are off and running! Excellent set of cards, Kristie! I like the color palette and designs on the papers. Thanks for all you do!
I love this paper pad and the colors you chose to pair with it. I really liked the pop of orange, too! These cards are sure to make the residents very happy–perfect to brighten up any winter day. I am looking forward to seeing you cruise through all your 6 x 6 pads! My "paper diet" was working until I got hooked on Queen & Company. What a way to go! ha ha TFS!!
Thank you, Jeanne!
Thank you, Jennifer! I'm not sure I will be cruising through ALL of my 6×6 paper pads. But it would be nice to end up with less by the end of the year. Lol! Sorry about the Queen & Company enabling. Heehee! But, I just love all of their products and they keep making more and more. 🙂
