Hello friends! I love using patriotic colors on my cards all year round. So when I saw the By the Sea collection from Carta Bella, I had to buy it. I love the Sea theme in the red, white, and blues. I decided to focus on general themes so I could use the cards to give to the residents at a local retirement home. I will write a message inside each card. Just a short uplifting message that will hopefully add a bit of sunshine to someone’s day.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 26 cards.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was around 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I first pulled before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 5 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 11 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
