  • Looks great, Kristie. You definitely can't go wrong with Lawn Fawn. The penguins are so cute and the paper looks great in the strips. I really like the snow texture from the embossing folder. Great way to start of the new year! 🙂

  • Thank you, Jennifer! Lawn Fawn is definitely one of my favorite stamp companies too. Especially since the images are easy to color. 🙂

  • Hi Kristie, my nickname is "Penguin" so I couldn't help but love this cute card, LOL! I really enjoy visiting your blog to see your card creations and I appreciate you adding measurements to the card sketches you use. Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy 2018! Shari

  • Hi Kristie,
I need some help. I found out about OWH at the end of their time, but I ended up getting connected to people/places/organizations that needed cards. I am finding I need help!!! It would be the same as OWH kinda, except you would just send your own box…love, missing you etc….are you or any of your contacts interested???
You are my inspiration…I visited my son in Tennessee this past weekend and made 46 cards…I am learning to like the MISTI!!!
Hope you can help…there is a ship that is on the list and I simply cannot make enough!

  • PS The above are all military…my son is in the Navy, (now in Guam), that is how I became interested in OWH.

  • Hello, Gerri! I love that you are finding places to donate your cards. There really are so many different organizations/charities that have a need for handmade cards. I appreciate you thinking of me, but I donate all of my cards locally now. I'm sure if you reach out to crafters in the card industry, there will be others willing to contribute.
