Hello friends! The new card challenge over atCards in Envy is ‘Something New‘. Create a card using a new technique, new paper, new stamp, etc.

For my card, I used a new stamp set from Reverse Confetti called Mod Floral Stack. It’s a fun set that can be used to create a variety of images. I used 2 different sizes of the petal stamps to make a butterfly. I used some yellow ink to add a touch of color to the stitched rays background. Then I made the butterfly antennae using one of the leftover Peel Offs from the August Love from Lizi kit. I added some black Nuvo drops to the ends of the antennae and some clear glitter Nuvo drops randomly around the butterfly.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

I appreciate your kindness and support!

  • What a lovely butterfly, Kristie. Excellent idea to use those sparkly strips from Love from Lizi to make the antennae. I like the detail in the background, too. Helps the butterfly to pop! Wonderful card. 🙂

  • Thank you, Jeanne! I really like this new stamp set from Reverse Confetti. And I wish I had more of the Peel Offs. I may need to place an order just to buy a bunch. 🙂

  • A wonderful card Kristie, I especially love the addition of that background stitched die! Thanks for the inspiration! Hugs, Gwendolyn
