Hello friends! It’s time for a new card challenge over at Cards in Envy. The theme is Santa Baby! Create a card featuring anything that makes you think of Santa.

I recently purchased this fun Winter Skies set from Lawn Fawn. I thought it would be fun to make a night scene of the little critters watching the sky for Santa on Christmas Eve. Of course, I had to use Brusho powder again to make the night sky. I added some stars using a white gel pen. Then used some Nuvo glitter drops on the snowy hills. I really need to make card scenes more often since I love the end results.

  • Oooh, this looks fabulous, Kristie! I was lamenting that I hadn't yet used my Brushos, but now you've given me inspiration on how I can still use it! It looks gorgeous here. I adore the scene you have created. I hope you do find time to create more scenes. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂

  • I love your scene! You definitely have an eye for scenes as well as layering. I have Brusho on my wish list and I so enjoy seeing how you are working with it. The LF stamps are adorable. TFS!

  • Thank you, Jeanne! I am definitely not an expert with Brusho powders. But I do enjoy creating a background, especially with the black. 🙂

  • Thank you, Jennifer! Brusho is really easy to use for creating fun looking backgrounds. The black is my favorite since it has so many different colors mixed into it.
