I really enjoyed this card design, so I decided to do another one. This time in purple, which isn’t a color I use very often in card-making. But Cards in Envy’s current challenge is Just Purple, so I pulled out my purple Brusho powder. For the background, I simply wet the paper and sprinked the Brusho powder on, letting it create a fun multi-colored design. Then for the chevron die cut, I mixed the powder into a solid purple and painted the die cut piece. I just love how it turned out!

I don't use purple very often myself but it is such a pretty color and so gorgeous in this design of yours! Fabulous card! Glad you thought of us and shared it for the challenge on Cards in Envy! 🙂
I don't use purple much either, but I do like the color and other people's purple cards. Your card looks fabulous in these purple tones Kristie! Hugs, Brenda

Your card makes me want to try the Brusho powders! I like the unique background you've created with them. Thanks for making Cards in Envy part of your crafting fun!

Oh how beautiful. I have always liked purple (and green) but this is unbelievable – it's simple but just the right amount of WOW to be gorgeous. Can I create the background with Color Burst powder color?
Thank you! I've never used the Color Burst powder before, but I believe it works the same as Brusho. Give it a try!
