Hello friends! It’s time for a new card challenge over at Cards in Envy. The theme is Hang Your Stocking with Care. Create a card featuring a stocking, or what you might find in your stocking.
I own a ton of Christmas stamp sets, but not one with a stocking. Then I remembered the Queen & Company Happy Holly Days kit that I recently used. It has a stocking die and lots of fun sentiments. The die coordinates with the foam and acetate pieces included in the kit. But it also works perfectly as a non-shaker card.
Sketch – Mojo Monday #322
Paper – Carta Bella – Merry & Bright collection
Stamp – Queen & Company
Stocking die – Queen & Company
Specialty paper – Love From Lizi
Ribbon – May Arts
Ink – Reverse Confetti
Be sure to check out the rest of the Cards in Envy design team’s cards. I’d love for you to play along with our card challenge. Just remember to keep your card fairly flat so it fits nicely in an envelope.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Fabulous stocking card, Kristie! Great color palette and how neat that you had the stocking die from the kit to use. I like the specialty paper under the stocking. It adds a lovely texture. Great sketch, too, to show off your fabulous stocking!
The paper-pieced stocking is so cute! Love the card and all the papers you used. How perfect that you had a die from Queen & Co.
Lovely card Kristie. I think that you would love to have this stocking hanging on your mantle. Have a lovely Christmas.
