Hello friends! it’s almost Autumn! Yay! I have a ton of other projects I should be working on, but first I needed to make some pretty fall cards. I have a few fall 6×6 paper pads I could use, but instead I pulled out 6 sheets of 12×12 patterned paper. The collection is Farmstead Harvest by American Crafts. I believe I purchased it last year. I only bought 6 sheets, but there are other designs that are part of the collection.

Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 12×12 papers. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 12×12 patterned paper, I also used 7 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. I’ve always enjoyed your 6 x 6 paper pad videos (great designs and inspiration). I, too, have collected (i.e. hoarded) 12 x 12 paper for years, but most of it is from different companies and collections. I think I’ll try to choose a piece weekly and challenge myself to create 6 cards from a sheet. I have plenty of dies, stamps, and embellishments so could think of new ways to use those w/ different paper designs.
Ohhh, Julie’s idea is a good one. I may have to try something similar. The papers you selected are just beautiful for fall. You made some delightful card, especially the mushroom one. Thank you so much for sharing, Kristie!
