Hello friends! I have had several requests for another Doodlebug 6×6 paper pad tutorial video. Well, I have anxiously been awaiting their newest release, French Kiss, because it is just adorable. The paper pad is love themed, perfect for Valentine cards. Although most of the designs could easily be used for other occasions.
I’ll be donating most of the cards to the residents at a local retirement home. The cards will be Valentine’s Day cards and I will include a hand written message inside each one. I’ve been told the residents greatly enjoy my cards, and I find joy sharing my cards with others.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 36 cards.

Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was just over 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 23 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 9 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors –
Navy blue – unknown
Pink – Recollections
Dark pink – unknown
Moonstone – Coredinations
Julep – Bazzill
Tahitian Princess – Bazzill
Tonic Mirror Card satin cardstock
Scarlet Organza
Cobalt Velour
Pink Chiffon
Silky Sky

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and the newer Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug French Kiss 6×6 paper pad.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.
I appreciate your kindness and support!
Oh my, Kristie, you have been a busy bee! This collection looks wonderful. I see some new to me sketches and you've shown a lot of love in your creations. I'm sure your retirement community will love receiving these beauties!
Yes, I have been super busy lately. I'm way behind on my January videos and I'm attempting to catch up. I think I now have all the Valentine cards needed for the retirement home residents. 🙂
Great cards Kristie, and really cute paper! The stickers are adorable–especially the Pug!! Thanks for sharing another great video. I am happy with your current balance of some voice over and some music, but I would watch any video you make. I think an hour voice over would be a lot of work for you!!
It's always so inspiring to see your beautiful cards. So glad you could join me for Mojo Monday!
Thank you, Jennifer! Yay for a new Doodlebug paper collection! I appreciate your feedback about the voiceovers. I feel like it's a perfect balance, but I've received some comments about it and figured I'd ask. An hour long voiceover would be a lot of work for me. I wouldn't be able to post videos quite as often if I always did full voiceovers. 🙂
Thank you, Julee! I appreciate your kindness! It's always fun to see the new designs you create. 🙂
I'm a newbie paper crafter and love your designs. I've been binge watching your videos. 🙂 When you write the dimensions on your sketches, is that the mat size or the pattern paper size?
Hello Heather and welcome. I appreciate your kindness. The measurements listed on the sketches are for the pattern paper. I usually add another 1/8" for the matted layers. Although, I am always altering the sketches for what works best for me at the time. 🙂
