Hello friends! I’m really having fun making Christmas cards this year. I decided to use Doodlebug Design’s brand new Christmas Town collection. I love the cute images and bright colors in the paper pad. Especially since it includes lots of PINK! Doodlebug always makes the cutest paper collections. It’s nice to have a wide variety of Christmas cards for the holiday that range from very traditional to cute and whimsical.
I also purchased their cardstock sticker icons that match with the paper pad and included lots of cardstock for layering.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 36 cards.
Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was just over 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 18 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 9 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors –
Cardinal – Coredinations
Fern – Corenindations
Grassroots – Coredinations
Pink Diamond – Coredinations
Kraft – unknown
Dark pink – unknown
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Doodlebug Design’s Christmas Town 6×6 paper pad.

Oh golly, Kristie! These look fantastic. You can't go wrong with Doodlebug, first of all. Your choice of sketches are wonderful and each card is so delightful. Thank you so much for sharing. I cannot wait to watch the video. Have a lovely weekend. 🙂
Kristie do you have a video about how you store your sketches and how you decide which to use? Love your work!
Amazing talent. Thanks for all your help and for share your ideas.
Absolutely Perfect! I truly enjoy seeing what you create. Have a fabulous week.
Thank you! Doodlebug papers are always fun to use. 🙂
Thank you! I love Doodlebug paper collections!
Thank you, Jeanne! Doodlebug always makes such fun paper collections. I hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
I don't have a video or even a good storage system for the sketches I use. I just keep them sorted by website in a folder. As far as which sketch I choose, sometimes it's just because it's a sketch I want to try. I also select sketches based on what papers I have left or to use a certain sentiment or image stamp. 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
Thank you! I hope you have a great weekend!
Where do you buy your Coredinations cardstock? These cards are beautifu
l.
Thank you, Linda! A lot of my cardstock I have had more many, many years. I've always purchased the Coredinations brand at my local Joanns. But they seem to be changing to more Bazzill and Darice brands now.
